Possible Conflict with FCS

On my Powerbook, Waveburner seems to work fine, but on my MacPro (where I also have FCS installed), Waveburner will not import (or allow drag-and-drop) of any kind of audio file. It hangs and I get the spinning ball and have to force quit.

I have the latest updates of everything on both machines and I've tried deleting preferences. What ever I do, I can't get Waveburner to import an audio file - although it will open older projects created some time ago.

I installed Logic after installing FCS. Could this be the cause? If so, how can I reverse that procedure?

In short, I'm unable to use Waveburner on my MacPro, so please, can anyone throw any suggestion for why this is happening - and how I may fix the problem.

On further investigation, I'm beginning to think the problem may be because the files I'm trying to import into Waveburner were originally saved in iTunes - where track meta data was added. If I open and resave one of these files in Soundtrack Pro, the meta data gets stripped off and then they will import ok. So, is the problem with Waveburner or iTunes?
